Run by Steve Gallagher of Jumpstart Web Design, Development and Branding Services, based at FW Worthing, this series of three workshops starts in July with workshops 2 and 3 in September and October respectively. Workshop 1: 17th July 2018 - planning a website, from creative or business idea to key content, user journey and essential information you must include. What you should be thinking about when you begin and the key information you need to get started. Workshop 2: 18th September 2018 - creating a website, understanding domains, hosting and servers, an introductions to WordPress, how WordPress works, what are themes and plug-ins and how to use them. Workshop 3: 23rd October 2018 - managing a website, including web hosting, updating content and plug-ins, setting up and understanding Google Analytics, back-ups, connecting third party services like Mailchimp and moving your website to a new provider if needed.
