Congratulations to the team at Koska on their official launch on Tuesday 24th October.

Former boss of Warner Bros TV Production UK and creator of Supernanny, Nick Emmerson has launched a new TV production company backed by ITV Studios. He has a large office space at the Creative Hub based in Hove. Nick said ' we're very excited to be doing it from Freedom Works!' Nick also said that he was “buzzing” that Koska “is open for business”.

“I want Koska to be a truly creative and entrepreneurial place to be,” he added.

Nick is Koska’s Chief Executive and he is joined by former Executive of the James Grant Talent Agency, David Phillips as Director of Entertainment. Koska will focus on producing returnable non-scripted series.

A former chief executive of Brighton-based indie, Ricochet, Nick also ran Shed Media in the US with responsibility for shows including The Real Housewives of New York City, Basketball Wives and Rihanna’s Styled To Rock. Before moving to the US, he co-created long-running Channel 4format Supernanny.

David was a TV Board Director at the James Grant Talent Agency and represented clients including Clare Balding, Frank Lampard, Tom Daley, Gabby Logan, Mark Chapman and Jake Humphrey. He started his career as part of the Top of the Pops production team. “There’s nothing I like better than building a team that thrives together," said Nick, "David is a fantastic first signing for us.”

Nick and David are joined by team members, David Hillary and Charlie Tooke.

ITV Studios Managing Director,Julian Bellamy, added: “Nick is a fantastic creative talent as well as being a very successful business leader. We’re very glad to play a part in this new venture and look forward to watching Koska thrive under Nick and David’s expertise.”
